Tool Design Engineer - Torrance, CA
Seeking a motivated, self-starting type
of individual with experience in machine tool design. Specific experience
designing drill bit geometry for printed circuit board drilling
applications. Must have strong analytical skills and be able to design and
conduct experiments, as well as organize and present resulting data.
Must have five or more years of progressively complex
technical experience and a good understanding of high speed rotating
bearings and mechanisms kinematics. Prefer experience with 3D modeling and
drafting and/or basic knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Mechanical
Desktop. This position will interface with internal and external customers
and vendors, and requires good project coordination abilities and
excellent people skills. This is a Research and Development position
working in the forefront of new technologies and development in the
circuit board industry
Education: B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical
Engineering.
